Monique Rus-van der Velde
Monique Rus-van der Velde has worked as a lawyer and partner at Van Benthem & Keulen since February 2018. She specialises in spatial planning and the environment, administrative law, obligations to tolerate, compensation for loss resulting from administrative acts, loss resulting from government planning decisions and expropriation. Monique heads the Administrative Law and Environmental Law teams.

About Monique Rus-van der Velde
Monique publishes articles in her field and teaches at the Training and Study Centre for the Judiciary (SSR), NCOI, SDU and the Centre for Professional Legal Education (CPO) at Radboud University Nijmegen.
Monique is a board member of the Expropriation Lawyers Association (VOA) and a board member of the Foundation Register DOBS (Deskundigen Onteigening en Bestuursrechtelijke Schadevergoeding). She is also a member of the Expropriation Law Association (VvOR), the Environmental Lawyers’ Association (VMA), the Environment Law Association (VMR) and the Administrative Law Association.
