Ilse Berends
Ilse Berends joined Van Benthem & Keulen as a lawyer in the Corporate / M&A practice group in January 2019. Ilse’s expertise is: mergers and acquisitions, participations and joint ventures, company law and corporate litigation.
Ilse is a passionate lawyer with a hands-on mentality and, as such, she is happy to offer clients a helping hand.

About Ilse Berends
Ilse took a master's course in Dutch Law, specialising in Employment Law and Corporate Law, at the University of Groningen and graduated in September 2018.
During her studies Ilse did internships at various law firms and in the business world. During her studies Ilse worked as a registrar at the Arnhem-Leeuwarden Court of Appeal.
In 2023, Ilse completed the GROTIUS specialisation course in Corporate Law cum laude.
Ilse is a board member (chairman) of the Young Bar Association Midden Nederland region and a member of the Young DCFA (Dutch Corporate Finance Association).
