Ilse Bakker
Ilse Bakker has been working as a lawyer at Van Benthem & Keulen in the Commercial Contracting & Dispute Resolution and Construction Law practice groups since 2012. Ilse’s expertise is: liability law, law of civil procedure, contract law and dispute resolution.
What distinguishes Ilse as a lawyer is that she always looks for creative and practical solutions tailored to the individual position and wishes of her clients.
In recent years Ilse has been seconded several times to various companies, where she acted as an oracle and advisor to the management and other stakeholders within the organisation.
Ilse is a speaker at iura actua Contract Law.

About Ilse Bakker
Ilse obtained her master's degree in Private Law at Utrecht University. In addition to the regular master's programme, Ilse followed the Excellent Master route (plus programme).
Ilse completed her Mediation Training in 2019.
Ilse also publishes regular articles in Bedrijfsjuridische Berichten (Company Law News) and is a member of the Dutch Association for Procedural Law (NVvP).
Besides her work, Ilse is a volunteer at the Prago Foundation, which offers practical, targeted education (primary education) to the illiterate and to adults with a mild mental handicap. Ilse also acts as a mediator for Utrecht Community Mediation, where she helps neighbours get out of (imminent) conflict situations.
