Dennis Apperloo
Dennis Apperloo has been a lawyer and associate partner at Van Benthem & Keulen in the Banking & Finance team since January 2024.
Dennis is practicing law since 2011. Before joining Van Benthem & Keulen, he worked at two international firms.
Dennis focuses on financial regulatory issues and assists his clients (including banks, payment institutions and insurers) with, among other things, market access, financial regulatory strategy issues, scoping and enforcement matters by DNB and AFM.
In addition, Dennis advises and assists his clients on Wwft issues and is frequently asked to conduct external reviews for the purpose of an acquisition or at the request of a regulator.
Dennis also advises various "non-financials" on financial regulatory law issues. These include clients working in the telecoms, automotive, energy and distribution sectors.
What distinguishes Dennis as a lawyer is that he thinks along with his clients in a pragmatic manner. He views financial regulatory issues from a multidisciplinary and risk management perspective, with a keen eye for efficient implementation and working methods. Through various secondments at clients' venues, Dennis knows how to efficiently and effectively assist his clients with their financial regulatory challenges. Clients appreciate the knowledge and solution-oriented approach from Dennis.

About Dennis Apperloo
Dennis is a member of the Dutch Financial Law Association and regularly participates as a speaker in seminars on the application of Wwft legislation. In addition, Dennis is a member of various expert groups
