Reimer Helder
Reimer Helder joined Van Benthem & Keulen as a lawyer in the Administrative Law and Environmental Law practice groups in February 2022.
Reimer has been practising law since 2017 and specialises in environmental law and general administrative law. The entry into force of the Environment Act has Reimer's special attention. He regularly provides courses on this subject. He also advises and litigates on a variety of issues related to the Environment Act, such as environmental plans, enforcement issues and transitional law issues.
He is also often involved in projects that are usually politically and socially controversial. Examples include the realisation of housing developments, real estate developments and business parks. Furthermore, Reimer has a strong focus on the doctrine of scarce rights. He regularly advises municipalities on this subject, actively contributing ideas on the distribution system of scarce permits.
Reimer represents government authorities and the business community.

Reimer studied at the University of Groningen. After his studies, Reimer worked as a lawyer at Houthoff for more than four years.
