Biography

Pauline van Hecke-Margry has been working at VBK as a deputy civil-law notary since January 2016, as an associate civil-law notary since August 2023 and as counsel since 1 January 2026. Pauline has specialised in corporate law and has a focus on the international network.

What distinguishes Pauline as an assigned civil-law notary is her personal contact and engagement with clients, which enables her to quickly shift gears.

Pauline started her career in 2007 as a deputy civil-law notary at Baker & McKenzie in Amsterdam. She subsequently worked at Norton Rose Fulbright, where she helped to set up their notary practice.

In August 2023, Pauline was sworn in and appointed as an assigned civil-law notary.
