Van Benthem & Keulen provided legal guidance to VetPartners on the acquisition of 33 Dutch veterinary practices

Van Benthem & Keulen has assisted VetPartners, a UK-based group of veterinary clinics, in its acquisition of Dierenartsen Groep Nederland (DGN), a nationwide network of 33 cooperating veterinary practices. This the largest acquisition of veterinary clinics in the Netherlands.
The acquisition of DGN expands VetPartners' presence in the Netherlands. Earlier this year, Van Benthem & Keulen already assisted VetPartners in the acquisition of DierenDokters, consisting of 14 clinics. VetPartners has around 11,000 employees and more than seven hundred sites. Since 2019, the company has been expanding in Europe, with practices in Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Germany, Ireland and the Netherlands.
Van Benthem & Keulen's deal team included Sander Marges, Maaike Kamps, Lisanne Veerbeek, Nino Solisa and Maurits Michon.
