Van Benthem & Keulen appoints four salary partners

On 1 January 2019 Jan Brölmann, Robin van Driel, Mariska Nijenhof-Wolters and Martijn van Steensel were appointed salary partners.

Jan Brölmann (1984) works in the Information Technology practice group, specialising in IT and intellectual property law. Jan advises and litigates regularly on complex (cross-border) technology contracts, privacy compliance, platforms, e-commerce and the application of new technologies such as blockchain, the Internet of Things and Artificial Intelligence. The Information Technology practice group is growing rapidly and now consists of five lawyers, two of whom are partners.

Robin van Driel (1978) leads the transaction practice of the Banking & Finance section. He is mainly involved in financing and (financial) restructurings and has specialised knowledge and experience in the field of acquisition, asset, property and general corporate financing.

Mariska Nijenhof-Wolters (1983) works in the Commercial Contracting & Dispute Resolution team, specialising in commercial contract law. She focuses primarily on agency, distribution and franchise agreements and heads the Retail sector team within Van Benthem & Keulen.

Martijn van Steensel (1982) is a member of the notarial corporate law section and focuses primarily on the profit sector, assisting medium-sized and large companies with governance issues, restructurings, transactions and the like. He also has a special focus on the design of the articles of association and governance of commercial associations, cooperatives, mutual insurance associations and foundations (particularly foundations with a fiduciary role).
