Mariska Nijenhof-Wolters has been working as a lawyer since 2008 and as a partner at Van Benthem & Keulen since January 2019. Mariska leads the Commercial Contracting team within the Commercial Contracting & Dispute Resolution practice group. Mariska specialises in liability law, law of civil procedure, contract law and dispute resolution.

What distinguishes Mariska as a lawyer is her effective and result-oriented advice, tailored to the sector-specific business of her clients. Many of Mariska’s activities cover the retail sector.

Mariska likes to contribute to the professional development of her relations. She draws clients' attention to new developments in the field and speaks at the iura actua Contract Law.

About Mariska Nijenhof-Wolters

Mariska took the master courses in private law and criminal law at Utrecht University. In 2013 Mariska took the Grotius specialisation course in National and International Contracting, graduating with distinction.

Mariska completed her Mediation Training in 2019.

Mariska acts as a peer supervision (Intervision) moderator and is listed in the Peer Supervision Moderators Register (Register gespreksleiders Intervisie) of the Dutch Bar Association.

Mariska is a member of the Association for Distribution, Franchise and Agency Law, the Construction Lawyers Association (VBR-A), the Construction Law Association (VBR) and the Dutch Association for Procedural Law (NVvP). She is affiliated with the Bedrijfsjuridische Berichten (Corporate Law News) journal, for which she writes articles on a regular basis. Mariska is also a collaborator of ‘Tijdschrift Conflicthantering’, a magazine about dealing with conflicts.
