Biography

Stijn van Lummel has been working as a lawyer at VBK since December 2025, as part of the Employment & Pensions team. 

Stijn advises employers on current working practices, in which flexibility, digitization and changing labour relations play an increasingly important role. He supports employers in dealing with the various challenges of today, such as hybrid working, sustainable employability and changing legislation and regulations.

Stijn advises and litigates in all key areas of employment law.

About Stijn

Stijn completed his Master's degree in Labour Law at Utrecht University in 2025. 

In addition to his Master's degree, Stijn was involved in the European Working Group on Labour Law, where he shared knowledge and discussed current developments in labour law with fellow students from several countries. This collaboration focused on the legal consequences of collective labour agreements. The international and comparative law approach provided valuable insights into the functioning and impact of collective labour agreements within different European legal systems.

Stijn is a member of the Central Netherlands Young Bar Association (Jonge Balie Midden-Nederland).
