Van Benthem & Keulen strengthens its Banking & Finance team with the arrival of Wouter van den Wildenberg

As of 1 August 2025, Wouter van den Wildenberg has joined Van Benthem & Keulen as a lawyer and Counsel within the Banking & Finance team.

Before joining Van Benthem & Keulen, Wouter worked as General Counsel at a European challenger bank. From 2011 to 2021, Wouter worked in the legal profession. 

Wouter advises banks, alternative financiers, investors and companies on structuring financing and assists with the documentation of credit terms. He also assists with the restructuring of loans and recovery from defaulting borrowers.

Thanks to his experience in banking, Wouter has a deep understanding of the interests and organisation of lenders, enabling him to propose solutions for complex discussions and situations. In addition, Wouter has extensive experience in international law and international business, giving him the knowledge, experience and contacts to successfully complete transactions involving multiple countries.
