Biography
Wouter van den Wildenberg joined VBK as a lawyer and counsel in the Banking & Finance team in August 2025.
Prior to joining VBK, Wouter worked as General Counsel at a European challenger bank. Before that (from 2011 to 2021), Wouter worked within the legal profession.
Wouter advises banks, alternative financiers, investors and companies in structuring financings and supervises the documentation of credit terms. He also supervises loan restructuring and recourse against non-paying borrowers.
Thanks to his experience in banking, Wouter has in-depth insight into the interests and organisation of lenders. This enables him to provide solutions to complex discussions and situations.
Wouter has extensive experience in international law and international business and therefore has the knowledge, experience and contacts to bring transactions involving multiple countries to a successful conclusion.

About Wouter
Wouter holds a master's degree in Dutch Private Law from Tilburg University and completed the postgraduate Grotius specialisation programme in Financing and Securities cum laude. He also obtained a master's degree in Commercial Law from the London School of Economics and Political Science with distinction.
