Recap of an inspiring internal quarterly meeting

On Thursday 25 September 2025, our internal quarterly meeting focused on technological developments and AI within the legal sector and our firm. Douwe Groenevelt shared his vision for the future of AI in the legal profession and provided an update on all current applications. Douwe also discussed the research he conducted together with our colleagues Kirsten Maes and Sonja Kruisinga. The research showed how (differently) corporate lawyers and AI perform when solving legal cases.

Arnold van der Veen Meerstadt provided an update on AI and IT initiatives within our firm, while Dave Venmans and Gijs van Wijgerden brought us up to speed on the ongoing projects within our firm.

We concluded the meeting in festive style with bubbles, toasting our great achievement: in 2025, we were once again chosen by MT1000 as the best legal service provider. A wonderful recognition that we look back on with pride!
