Our partner Martijn van Steensel appointed as new member of the Combined Committee on Company Law (GCV) as of October 1, 2024

The Board of the Royal Notarial Association (KNB) has appointed our partner and candidate notary, Martijn van Steensel, as a new member of the Combined Committee on Company Law (GCV) as of October 1, 2024. 

The KNB works together with the Dutch Bar Association (NOvA) in the GCV. This Committee monitors Dutch and European developments in laws and regulations in the areas of corporate and business law and financial law. 

On behalf of the KNB and the NOvA, the Committee issues advice on draft laws and bills to various ministries and parliament. The advice is primarily aimed at promoting the quality of legislation and serves the interests of good professional practice by notaries and lawyers.
