In Bedrijfsjuridische berichten (Bb), 2018, no. 70, Mariska Nijenhof-Wolters and Anouk Lankhaar wrote the article "The end of an agreement does not (always) lead to the end of the related agreement".
In principle, an agreement has a number of legal consequences for the parties to the agreement. Termination of an agreement may lead to termination of a related agreement between (one or more) other parties. In order to reach this conclusion, the Supreme Court rules that two steps are required. This article discusses this two-stage process and the underlying legal procedure. This explanation seeks to make contract parties aware of the potential consequences an agreement may have for another agreement.
