Biography

Walter de Jong has been working as a deputy civil-law notary at VBK since October 2026, within the Real Estate Civil-Law Notaries Department. 

Walter has been working as a deputy civil-law notary in the field of commercial real estate and real estate related corporate law since September 2022. 

Walter is an ambitious and dedicated deputy civil-law notary who offers his clients legal certainty through a solution-oriented approach. He has extensive experience in advising and assisting national and international clients with the purchase and sale of real estate. In addition, he regularly advises on the financing of commercial real estate and its (re)development. Walter is able to translate complex matters into clear and practical advice for his clients, whilst identifying risks in a timely manner. His aim is to quickly develop an effective strategy focused on the pragmatic and smooth completion of the transaction.

About Walter

Walter completed both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Notarial Law at the University of Groningen. In April 2026, he was sworn in as a deputy civil-law notary with substitution powers.

Walter is a member of the Royal Dutch Notarial Association.
