Steef van den Boogert

Steef van den Boogert works as a lawyer at VBK in the Restructuring & Insolvency team. In his daily practice, he supervises restructurings - whether or not in WHOA proceedings - and supports trustees and administrators in the settlement of bankruptcies and suspensions of payments. In addition, he assists creditors (or other stakeholders) who are faced with the bankruptcy of a business relation.

About Steef

Steef studied Law at Utrecht University and obtained his master's degree in Private Law in 2022. He wrote his master's thesis on the position of sellers under retention of title.

During his studies, Steef worked as a legal assistant at VBK in the Restructuring & Insolvencyteam from 2020 to 2023.

Steef is a member of the Young Bar Associations and the Association for Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA). Steef also regularly writes summaries of insolvency law rulings for INS Updates (Boom Juridisch).
