Biography
Sarah Nieuwenhuis works as a lawyer at VBK in the Restructuring & Insolvency team since August 2025.
In her daily practice, Sarah supports trustees and administrators in the settlement of bankruptcies and suspensions of payments. She also assists in advising and guiding entrepreneurs and their creditors in the context of settlement procedures under the Private Settlement Approval Act (WHOA).

About Sarah
In May 2024, Sarah completed her Master's degree in Business Law at Leiden University with distinction. In July 2025, she obtained her Master's degree in Internet, Intellectual Property and ICT at VU University Amsterdam.
Sarah is a member of the Young Bar Association of Central Netherlands and the Association for Young Insolvency Lawyers (JIRA).
