Monique Rus-van der Velde winner of the Magna Charta Public Award in the Construction Law 2018 article category

Monique Rus-van der Velde, one of our lawyers and partners, is the winner of the Magna Charta Public Award in the Construction Law 2018 best article category. Monique won the prize for the article that she co-wrote with Robin Aerts: ‘Less is more: removal of wind turbines and the Energy Agreement objectives’. The article deals with the options for removing existing wind turbines, in relation to the Energy Agreement objectives. Attention is paid to removal by way of a spatial planning track and via expropriation. The article appeared in the ‘Tijdschrift voor Bouwrecht (TBR 2018/54)’.
