Melinda Gayir has been working as a lawyer in Van Benthem & Keulen’s Administrative Law and Environmental Law practice groups since November 2020. She specialises in administrative law and administrative procedure law as well as in environment and planning law.
Before Melinda started working for Van Benthem & Keulen, she worked as a court lawyer at the Amsterdam District Court, which entailed dealing with various administrative and environmental disputes.
Melinda has gained experience at law firms as well as with judicial and local authorities. She therefore takes a practical approach and is able to view administrative and environmental dilemmas from various angles. Melinda is dedicated and actively involved with clients’ concerns.

About Melinda Gayir
Melinda completed her master’s degree in constitutional and administrative law at VU Amsterdam. During her studies, Melinda developed a particular interest in the new Environment and Planning Act. She wrote her master’s degree thesis on government regulations in environmental plans.
Melinda is a member of the Central Netherlands Young Bar Association (Vereniging Jonge Balie Midden-Nederland).
