Marisanne  Martens

I obtained my Law bachelor's degree cum laude at the University of Maastricht. I subsequently enrolled in the Business & Law master's degree programme at Radboud University Nijmegen. I completed this programme in 2017, graduating cum laude. During my studies I worked as an external court clerk at the Limburg District Court in Maastricht and as a student assistant at the Radboud University Nijmegen in the financial law, civil law and insolvency law departments and at the "Jurisprudentie Onderneming & Recht" (JOR) journal, which publishes and discusses case law involving business law. I also worked as an intern at law firms in Maastricht and Amsterdam.

Since January 2018 I work at Van Benthem & Keulen as part of the Corporate Restructuring/Insolvency practice group. In my daily practice I assist insolvency practitioners and administrators in the settlement of bankruptcies and suspensions of payments. In addition to this I provide advice to clients and represent clients in proceedings in the area of insolvency law.
