Jacqueline Meyst-Michels

Jacqueline Meyst-Michels graduated with a major in Dutch Private Law from the University of Leiden in 1977. In 1978 she became and Attorney-at-Law and worked for Dutilh, Van Der Hoeven & Slager. In 1984 she moved to Houthoff Buruma as a partner in their Commercial Insurance and Litigation department. In 2006 she became a partner in Van Benthem & Keulen where she specialises in Health Law with an emphasis on Medical Liability, Medical Disciplinary Law and advising on conflicts between specialists, partners or directors. She also provides general advice in the field of Personal Injury Law especially in relation to the so-called ‘modern’ occupational diseases. Besides her role at Van Benthem & Keulen Jacqueline is also:
• A member of the editorial staff for the “Nieuwsbrief Personenschade”.
• A member of the complaints committee for a Rotterdam Hospital.
• The senior chairman of the Association of Personal Injury Attorneys.
• A lecturer at Grotius Academie specialising in Personal Injury Law.
