Sylvia Gerdes

Sylvia Gerdes has been an Attorney-at-Law since 1995 and is Employment Law specialist with a practice that covers virtually every aspect of this field.

Her areas of expertise include: termination of employment (which she is able to advise on behalf of either an employer or an employee); company restructurings; long term sickness; reintegration, the appointment or dismissal of (statutory) directors; flexible working practices, conducting proceedings concerning business relations and non competition clauses. She also provides advice on the subject of employee participation to both employers and works councils.

In 2001 Sylvia obtained a postgraduate degree in Employment Law from the Erasmus University and she is a member of the Dutch Association of Employment Attorneys and The Association for Employment Law.

Besides this Sylvia is chairwoman of the Committee Objections in her place of residence.
