Suzanne Simonis

Suzanne Simonis completed her Legal studies at the University of Utrecht, and has been working in the field of Notarial Law since 1996. She spent the first three years of her career, gaining experience in general practice within one of the largest civil law notary firms in the Netherlands, before going on to specialize in commercial real estate.

In 2003 she successfully completed a specialist-training course at the Grotius Academy in Property and Real Estate.

In 2004, she moved to a commercial real estate Notarial practice within an international firm, where she worked alongside lawyers, tax-consultants and other civil law notaries.

Suzanne joined Van Benthem & Keulen on the 1st of January 2009, her main area of focus being commercial real estate. She advises clients on a diverse range of legal matters particular to this area of law such as sale and purchase procedures, division of apartment rights, all of the judicial aspects pertaining to underground construction work, and complex transactions relating to property and real estate. Additionally Suzanne provides guidance and supervision for property development projects and advises clients on the various means of obtaining financing for real estate ventures.

With a thorough grounding within the field of commercial real estate, Suzanne counts property developers, local authorities, institutional investors and housing corporations amongst her roster of clients.
