Schurings, Jan

Jan Schurings graduated in Law from the University of Utrecht and has been active within the field of Notarial Law since 1992. He was appointed to the position of Civil Law Notary in 2000 and worked for 8 years for a large Dutch Civil Law Notary Firm. From September 2008 he became the Civil Law Notary for Van Benthem & Keulen. His practice is mainly concerned with Company Law. He advises medium sized companies and non-profit organizations on a wide range of matters such as the creation of joint venture contracts or the construction of group structures. Moreover, he is highly experienced in the legal policies, practices and procedures pertaining to International Mergers and Acquisitions. Besides Company Law, he is also well-versed in general Notarial Law practices.
