Corporate litigation

Corporate litigation is the collective term for proceedings involving businesses and those who control them. Examples of this are lawsuits involving the liability of directors and supervisory directors, problems involving shareholders or holders of depositary receipts, or difficulties in partnerships, cooperatives and associations.

Litigation before the Enterprise Chamber of the Court of Appeals in Amsterdam (“Ondernemingskamer”) demands special expertise, a quality that our attorneys possess to a very high degree, due to the fact that they have many years of experience in this type of litigation.
Our attorneys cover every aspect of this field of law and can also advise on issues such as disputes relating to annual accounts, the policy pursued by and situation prevailing in legal entities (the right of inquiry into the state of affairs of a company or (“enquêterecht”), the use of the two-tier governance regime, buying out minority shareholders and the right of works councils to appeal against decisions taken by company directors.
They are regularly involved in national and international arbitration, binding advice procedures and mediation.
