The Automotive Industry is an extremely dynamic field of business. It is home to importers, car dealers, dealership organisations, auto rental companies, auto damage repair businesses and parts suppliers amongst others. In order to service this industry more effectively, Van Benthem & Keulen has pulled together a team of legal experts, who work frequently within this field under the collective umbrella of the Automotive Sector Team.

Team members advise or initiate proceedings on behalf of clients in matters covering a wide range of legal fields such as Contract Law, Liability Law, Competition Law, Employment Law and Privacy Regulations as they pertain to Consumer Goods. The Automotive Sector Team works closely with an Advisory Council, composed of key players within the Automotive Industry. This Council keeps the team informed on current events as well as suggesting areas of the industry that may require special attention. Where necessary, the Council organises seminars for team members as part of an ongoing programme of advice and assistance. Naturally, the Automotive Sector Team members keep up to date with legal developments within the industry, whether by case law or through new Statutory rules and regulations. This not only enables them to speak the language of the industry but also provides them with an expert knowledge of the rules of engagement, qualities indispensable to the provision of outstanding advice to our clients.
